John William Martin, Tech. Sgt. USAF (Ret.) of Madison, TN passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at the age of 89. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Wilbertine Kitchen Martin and their daughter, Patricia Lowry.
He is survived by his Joseph (Barbara) Martin of Hermitage, TN; daughters, Kathy (Tony) Robbins of Greenbrier, TN and Theresa (Eddie) Haddock of Cottontown, TN.; Eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Martin was retired Tech. Sgt. in the United States Air Force and a member of the American Legion Post 206. He was also retired from the State of Tennessee. He was a member of St Luke's Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Martin was a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Jere Baxter Edgefield Lodge #254.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 5 to 7pm in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home and where funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 9:30am with Rev. Dwayne Tyus officiating. Interment will follow in Middle Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
