Wendell Short of Chapmansboro, TN passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015at the age of 75. Though he never played the game of golf Wendell was a proud "Keeper of the Greens" at Sycamore Valley Golf Course in Ashland City, TN. Mr. Short was retired from the US Navy. Mr. Short is survived by his wife, Anita Short; sons, Tony Short and Terry (Barbara) Short; daughter, Tracy Short; brother, Merle (Geraldine) Short; sister, Marie (Franklin) Moore of Madison, NC; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by great-grandson, Eli Jayce Cunningham. Family and friends will gather on Monday, November 9, 2015 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home beginning at 9am with funeral services at 11am. Interment will follow in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
