Obituary of Emily Fondren

Emily Suzanne Fondren, age 27, of Old Hickory TN, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Preceeded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Jewell Fondren, Mobile, AL and Noble and Irene McGuire, Fulton MO. Survived by her parents, Mike and Ginger Fondren; her brother, Chris, and her fiancé, Mike Carter, aunts, uncles and cousins and a multitude of friends the world over. Emily attended Hunters Lane High School, graduating in 2004. She graduated with honors having completed the first International Baccalaureate Program in Tennessee. She graduated with an Associates' Degree in Photography from Nossi College of Art in 2004. Emily was employed by Famous Five Dining (Famous Dave's Restaurant). Her passion included Irish Stepdancing. She was an assistant instructor at Nashville Irish Stepdancers and also competed at the champion level in the United States, Ireland and Scotland. A friend said "A beautiful and talented young women God has called home to dance the dance of the Irish in his wonderful mansion". Many have asked what they can do to help. James Watts officiating. Pallbearers will be Matt Nicholson, Wes Carlock, Casey Jennings, Josh Davidson, Mike Lister and Doug Reneger . Interment to follow at Beech Cemetery, Hendersonville, TN
