I worked for a Dr's office before I had children when I first met Mrs. Burnett. She was such a wonderful lady! Then, I had kids and left the office only to have two of those kids later attend Gene Brown with Mrs. Burnett as their music teacher. They loved her so much and we just now heard of her passing. Prayers for her family and all that knew her. What a blessing she was to all that came in contact with her!

Mrs. Burnett was a sweet kind and loving woman. She always had a smile on her face whenever I saw her at Gene Brown Elementary. She made my daughter Kaila fall in love with music. She has been a positive influence in the lives of many. May she rest in peace in heaven. God has gained another angel.

To the Burnett Family: I wanted to let all of you know what a wonderful, kind and loving teacher and friend Mrs. Burnett was to my family. I fell in love with her as a music teacher many years ago, when she was my daughter Alicia's teacher. Then when my grandchildren came a long as fate would have it, Alicia's children Noah and Makenna had Mrs. Burnett, and they also fell in love with her. I never heard an unkind word come from her mouth. I had so much respect for her as a teacher and an individual. She was a Christian woman who walked with grace and always took pride in how she looked. She will truly be missed by many. May God grant each of you peace at this time. Also. may you all find comfort knowing, not only did she touch the childrens lives, she also touched their parents/grandparents lives, for over 40 years. God has gained another beautiful angel! We will truly miss you Mrs. Burnett...Love, Gram (Kathie Canter)
