Burnett, Barbara of Old Hickory, age 82, passed away December 16,2014.
She was a school teacher for over 40 years having retired from Gene Brown Elementary in Hendersonville. Preceded in death by son, Jonathan Jeffrey Burnett. Survived by son, Charles "Chuck" Burnett; daughter in law, Terri; grandchildren, Jacob Burnett and Chessa Noel (Seth) Budai; brother, Jack (Nancy) Redden; dog, Hailey.
Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 11:00am until time of service at noon in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Hermitage Memory Gardens. MADISON FUNERAL HOME 615-868-9020 www.madisonfuneralhome.net
