Joe Headrick Smith of Gallatin, TN passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the age of 85. Friends and family will gather in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 1pm until service time at 3pm with Chaplin Jesse Green officiating. Mr. Smith was retired from Pirelli Armstrong Tire Co. where he served as a supervisor. He was an Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Conover Smith. He is survived by his son, Ron (Karen) Smith of Goodlettsville and his daughter, Renae Smith (Michael) Roach of Chattanooga; sister, Charlene Elizabeth Smith of Hermitage; foster-daughter, Janice Gallahan of Chattanooga; Grandchildren, Daniel Troy Smith, Ronnie Eugene Smith, Angel Christine Thomas, Michael Donovan Roach and Noah Stephen Roach; seven great-grandchildren. madisonfuneralhome.net (615)868-9020.
