Hilary Hood of Nashville, TN passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the age of 76.
Mr. Hood was retired from Metro Sanitation Dept. and was a SSgt. in the U.S. Army 8th Infantry.
Mr. Hood was preceded in death by his loving wife and daughter, Mary Frances Hood and Hilda Faye Hood.
He is survived by his family members, James (Sue) Kestner; Judy Ross, Sheila (Stan) Matlock, Rosemarie (David) Waffird and Debra (Randy) Tully; several nieces and nephew, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home from 3 to 7pm and also on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 12noon until service time at 2pm with Bro. James Humphrey officiating. Pallbearers: William Hunter, Daniel Waffird, Firecracker Bolling, David Waffird, Randy Tully and Stan Matlock.
