I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Ms. Ray at Waterford where my mother is also a resident. I enjoyed visiting with her when I was there and I soon discovered that she loved to sing. Mom, Ray and I spent many a visit singing hymns and whatever else popped up in our heads. As is the case with memory loss, I had never heard anything about Ray's accomplishments until I read the obituary. She was quite the force! I will miss seeing her each week and I am grateful that I was fortunate enough to meet her.
