Obituary of Anthony Lee Dunn

Anthony Lee "Tony" Dunn of Madison, TN passed away on March 19, 2019 at the age of 62. He believed that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior. He was the owner and proprietor of A.L.D. Garden Center and A.L.D. Contract Services.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Dunn.

Mr. Dunn is survived by his father, Lee Dunn; mother, Peggy Dee; stepmother, Janet Dunn; sons, Robert (Laura) Dunn of Nashville and Ryan (Amber) Dunn of Pleasant View; sister, Penny Dunn; and grandchildren, Ethan, Addisyn, Gavin, Joshua and Lee Marco Dunn.

Tony had a passion for hard work, service, and helping others be successful. He understood that nothing comes for free--that achievement and hard work go hand-in-hand. He was the happiest on the water and playing with his grandchildren. Tony was known for his charisma and he'd be the first say that his favorite subject was "talking."

He'll be remembered as someone who gave more than he took, walked the extra mile for his customers, and would give the shirt off of his back to those he barely knew.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 2:00pm until 6:00pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 1:00pm with a visitation at 11:00am until service time. All services will with be held in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers are: Robert Dunn, Ryan Dunn, Jacob Andrews, Jason Heggie, Joe Willis, and Steve Crook. Honorary Pallbearers are: Abraham Aguilar, Joshua Graves, Patrick Narramore.

None of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself If we live, we live to the Lord, if we die, we die to the Lord, so whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living (Rom 14.8–9).
