It is with great sadness that the family of Virginia Wilburn Reid announces her passing after a brief illness, on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the age of 93 years. Preceded in death by her first husband, George Jackson, Jr. Virginia will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, George G. Reid; son, Bruce (Martha) Jackson; two grandchildren, Ashley (Will) Day and Clay (Amber) Jackson; three great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Emma Kate Day and Abigail Jackson; sister, Mary Small; many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. You are invited to come share memories 10AM - 1PM Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church, 431 West Old Hickory Blvd., Madison, TN with her Life Celebration Service to follow at 1PM with Brother Johnny Carver officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in Dixon Springs Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Virginia, to the building fund of McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church.
