Obituary of Jewell Marie Gray

Jewell Marie Gray, born Sept. 15, 1924, passed away Jan. 30, 2022, after a lengthy battle with dementia.
She was preceded in death by her husband Doug Gray, mother and father Tula and Willie Ellis, grandparents Pete and Leona Ellis, brothers Dorris and Bell Ellis and sister Katherine Ranjak.
Survivors include son Don Boyte (Wanda), daughter Betty Boyte, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, niece Faye Sloan and nephew Gayland Ellis (Patricia).
A graveside service will be held Friday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m., at Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View, Tenn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice, 1710 Patterson St., Nashville, Tenn.
