MARY KATHERINE BURNETT BRADLEY 1925--2012 Mary Katherine Bradley of Lynn Haven, Florida died on Friday, June 14, 2012, in a local care facility. Mary was born in middle Tennessee on August 19, 1925, to William Arthur and Mary Harrell Burnett. She was the youngest of seven children. She loved various types of needlework, board and card games. Prior to the US entering WWII she would "knit for the Brits" and enjoyed quilting and crocheting into her later years. She worked as a typist for local government and private business in Nashville. She was a faithful Christian and at the time of her death was a member of Jenks Avenue Church of Christ, Panama City, FL. As a young teenager in Madison, TN she met Ralph O. Bradley. They married in 1945 shortly after his return from WWII. They raised of family of three children and were active members of the Madison Church of Christ. Ralph's death in 2001, briefly interrupted their 55 year marriage. Shortly thereafter, Mary moved to be with family in Lynn Haven, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and older siblings. She is survived by her children, Carol Bradley of Madison, TN, Cheryl (Corky) Manning of Lawrenceville, GA, Bill (Diane) Bradley of Lynn Haven, FL and beloved grandson, Barry Bradley. The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Mathison Retirement Center, Summer's Landing Retirement Center, Covenant Hospice and Dr. Kris Lewandowski for their tender care and support. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10 A.M. in the chapel of Madison Funeral Home 219 Old Hickory Blvd. East Madison, TN with internment at 1PM in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Hospice of Panama City, FL www.covenanthospice.org/PanamaCity) or Encouragement Ministries of Brentwood, TN (www.encouragementministries.net).
