SHANNON, RALPH DERIUS, 74, May 4, 2009. Preceded in death by parents, Roy "Bud" and Rachel Mercure Shannon; brother, Darrell Lee Shannon; sister, Tillie Rose Shannon. Survived by wife, Ruth Vandergrift Shannon; son, Michael Morgan Shannon; daughter, Paula Sue Basnett; sisters, Deloris Traxler, Helen Dugan; grandchildren, Olivia and Joel Basnett; several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Madison Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8, with military rites at 7:30 pm. Visitation at Bogner Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, Ohio, Thursday 2-4, 6-8 p.m. Funeral service Friday in the Chapel of Bogner Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Interment at Resthaven Memorial Garden, Avon Lake, Ohio.
